Stephané Conradie

Namibian 1990- 

Stephané Conradie, born in 1990 in Namibia, is a lecturer in print media at Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town, South Africa. She previously held a lecturing position at Stellenbosch University in print media. Conradieis currently also a Ph.D. candidate in Visual Arts at the University of Stellenbosch, where she completed her MA in Visual Arts (Art Education) and her BA in Visual Arts (Fine Arts). Although primarily a trained printmaker, she is known for her bricolage assemblages.

Most recently Conradie was included in the Materiality (2020) exhibition at the Iziko National Gallery, the Megalo International Print Prize 2020, Kingston, Australia, and Black Luminosity (2021) curated by Gcotyelwa Mashiqa at SMAC Gallery in Stellenbosch. Conradie's work is held in several private and public collections such as the Leridon Collection, France, and GAUTREAUX Collection, Kansas City.
