Nicola Fouché

South African 1991- 

Nicola was born in South Africa in 1991.

In 1998 her family moved to Namibia. Having grown up in a country bursting with far-stretching, highly contrasting landscapes and imagery, these places and spaces continuously serve as a basis for inspiration in her art practice. In 2015 Nicola graduated from the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa) with a BA Degree in Visual Art (Fine Art).

She moved to Shanghai, China in 2016 where she lived and worked until 2020. Currently, Nicola lives in Hermanus, in the Western Cape. Living abroad and experiencing different ways of life and of seeing the world has enriched Nicola's practice as an artist. Nicola is represented by ARTSEE?? (www.art-see.com).
