Anne Rosat

Swiss 1935- 

Anne Rosat is an acclaimed artist renowned for her unique paper-cutting technique. Her artistic journey began when she was inspired by a work by Johann-Jakob Hauswirth (1809-1871), which led her to develop her own distinctive style. Her work is characterised by the striking use of colour, often featuring a bold red, in addition to layering and the use of embossed paper. Rosat's art frequently depicts local life and pastoral landscapes. Her artworks are showcased in several notable collections, including the Swiss Paper-cutting Collection, the Musée du Vieux Pays-d'Enhaut in Château-d'Oex, and the Banque cantonale vaudoise, Switzerland.
