Lars Hellsten

Orrefors, Sweden 1933-2022 

Lars Hellsten was one of Sweden's most influential post-war glass designers. In 1972 he joined Orrefors Glassworks and remained there for 25 years. He worked extensively in clear crystal, and was celebrated for combining Scandinavian modernist simplicity with innovative glassmaking techniques.
