Julia Slyunkova

South African 1990- 

Julia Slyunkova is a self-taught mosaic artist born in Russia, currently residing in Gordon's Bay, South Africa.
Her artistic journey in mosaic began in 2014 as part of her broader exploration of creativity. This path ultimately led to the establishment of Noname Studio Mosaic in 2023, a studio dedicated to offering specialized workshops.

A distinctive feature of her work is the intricate use of fine glass mosaics, often incorporating detailed floral and animal motifs.
Since June 2024, she has been a member of the Mosaic Association of South Africa, and she joined Contemporary Art Mosaic2 in August 2024. As an active content provider and volunteer within the CMA2 community, she committed to supporting fellow artists and promoting the mosaic art form.
