Artists

Swedish-born artist Tom Cullberg currently lives and works in Cape Town. He received his Bachelor of Fine Art from The University of Cape Town’s Michaelis School of Fine Art in 1997. His style varies from abstract to figurative, often including collections of objects (such as books) that can elicit both personal and societal associations.

Cullberg has exhibited extensively locally and in Europe, Australia, and the USA. He is presently represented by Barnard Gallery, Cape Town where he recently held the solo show Interlude (2023). His works can be found in the collections of the Iziko South African National Gallery, Cape Town; Swedish Parliament, Stockholm; Sasol, SA; Nando’s, UK; Spier, SA; and Press Art Collection of Annette and Peter Nobel, Zurich, Switzerland.
