Paolo Bini

Italian/South African 1984- 

Italian contemporary artist Paolo Bini graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, Italy in 2006. In 2013, he participated in the Centro Luigi Di Sarro’s Italy-South Africa Art Residency Project and the International Studio and Curatorial Program in 2019 in New York City. A mixed-media artist, Bini’s works explore the concept of landscape as a series of coloured vertical or horizontal stripes.

Bini has exhibited in numerous group and solo shows in Italy and in South Africa with Everard Read and CIRCA Gallery, including the 2022 solo show New Light and Land of Africa with Everard Read at Leeu Estates. In 2016 he won the XVII Cairo Prize.
