Allan Ndlovu

20th Century 

Allan Ndlovu was born in 1996 in Pietermaritzburg. He attended Eastwood High School but dropped out due to an unsettled life at home. In 2010, he met Sthabiso Hadebe, a painter at Ardmore, who introduced Ndlovu to Fée Halsted. Ndlovu is now recognised for his stylised imagery. With the launch of Cole & Son's Ardmore collection of wallpapers in 2017, Ndlovu worked closely on the Acacia design. His pieces are greatly admired and have proved popular with international buyers. In 2019, Ndlovu's Giraffe and Elephant bowl, stole the show at the Sabie Exhibition in Cape Town.
