Lefu Thebe

20th Century 

Lefu Thebe was born in Lesotho in 1998. Although he didn't attend school, his drive to succeed is fueled by his role as a family man, inspiring him to achieve well for his loved ones. He was introduced to Ardmore Ceramics by Bennet Zondo, a former Ardmore artist, whose work and success in South Africa greatly interested Thebe. He draws inspiration from fellow sculptor Thabiso Makhele, looking to him as a guide. Thebe is grateful for the opportunity to learn art and earn a living from his handmade creations
