Tanya Sternberg

South African 1977- 

Tanya Sternberg was born in East London, South Africa in 1977. Currently based in Cape Town, the artist graduated from the Ogilvy and Mather School of Advertising and started her own graphic design company, INK in 2005.

Since then, she has created series of artworks for leading South African retailers including Weylandts Home, The Grand Living, OKHA, Roche Babois and numerous private collections.
Sternberg has painted with oil on canvas for the last 20 years and is currently exploring ink on paper. Her subject matter is broad and includes portrait, figurative and landscape works.

She has been represented locally and internationally through many galleries and has held group and solo exhibitions.
