Noel Hart is one of Australia's leading contemporary glass artists. Originally trained as a painter, he approaches glass as a three-dimensional canvas, drawing inspiration from the rainforests and birdlife of eastern Australia. His innovative hot-glass technique, allows him to create richly layered, painterly surfaces that blur the boundaries between abstract painting and studio glass.
