Paula Dubois

South African 1970- 

Paula Dubois was born in Pretoria in 1970. She was inspired towards the arts during her school years by her passionate art lecturers at Pro Arte High School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Information Design from the University of Pretoria and has worked as a graphic designer, art director and illustrator.

Seeking God and beauty in everyday life has taken Dubois on a journey of discovery and transformation from a young age. The artist lives in Oranjezicht, close to mountains and sea - both a constant source of wonder and inspiration.

She has been part of various group exhibitions in South Africa and Europe. Her first solo was in Cape Town in 2020.

The artist co-founded Salon104 with painter, Joanne Lee Miller, in 2022.
