Value your Art?Do you know the value of your Paul Philp?

Paul Philp

British 1941-

Paul Philp is a ceramicist boasting an over 60-year career. He began his journey at 20 years old, creating tableware. He describes his technique as "hand-built stoneware" which can be easily recognized through its characteristic dry surface and lack of glaze. To create this iconic look, he adds wood ashes to a mix of China clay and Devon ball clay which is then fired repeatedly. Paul Philp's work has been featured in major international art fairs as well as several publications, including Ceramics Art and Perception (2014) and La Review de la Ceramique et du Verre (2006).
