Greg Schultz

South African 1965- 

Greg Schultz served as Head of Department of Fine Art at Buffalo City College, in association with the Port Elizabeth Technikon and the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, before being appointed Head of Department of Art and Design at the same institution. He resigned from this post in 2007 to pursue a full time studio practice.

He currently lives and works on a farm on the Kwelera River outside East London. His work encompasses drawing, painting, sculpture and projection and installation, and engages with the landscape and environmental genres in relation to what he describes as the exploration of the ethereal. The Eastern Cape natural environment is his primary source of inspiration.
