Geo Cloete

South African 1970- 

Geo Cloete, born in South Africa in 1970, obtained a degree in architecture from Nelson Mandela Bay University in 1999.

The artist has worked in the mediums of architecture, sculpture, jewellery and photography. The multi-disciplinary practice set by the Renaissance Masters as well as the artist's undying love for the ocean, has provided Cloete with the greatest source of inspiration throughout his career.

His photographic work has been featured in international exhibitions, which led to him being selected as a Mission Blue partner in 2016. Cloete has also participated in and recieved numerous awards for competitions including Wildlife Photographer Of The Year, United Nations World Ocean's Day and Underwater Photographer Of The Year, among others.
