Elsabe Schady

South African 1927-2012 

Born in 1927, Elsabe Schady was educated at Natal University. Her paintings are imbued with symbols and colours that suggest the metaphysical – that which is outside of reality. Schady’s work was included in numerous local exhibitions and is held in private and public collections including the Stellenbosch University Museum. Schady passed away in December 2012.
