Arabella Caccia

South African 1965-

Arabella Caccia's upbringing was diverse and full of travel. The artist and sculptor was born in London, UK in 1965, spent her early childhood in Tuscany, Italy, and her teenage years in Johannesburg. She studied at Edinburgh University in Scotland before living in Florence, London, and New York City, NY, USA – where she attended Parsons School of Design. She returned to South Africa in 1990 where she lives and works in Cape Town. Caccia and her husband are currently on a three-month-long expedition across Southern Africa. The tranquillity in her artwork reflects the people, places, and spaces that she inhabits and explores.

Caccia has exhibited extensively with Everard Read in South Africa and London, as well as in exhibitions in New York and London.
