Angela Su

Hong Kong 1958- 

Angela Su is a multidisciplinary artist based in Hong Kong who utilises mediums such as drawing, video, hair embroidery, and installation. With a background in biochemistry from the University of Toronto and visual arts from the Ontario College of Art, she blends scientific research with creative practices to examine the intersection of bodies and technology. Her works challenge biomedical discourses and address gender and body politics, often through video essays and alter egos. Su’s art has been exhibited internationally, including representing Hong Kong at the 59th Venice Biennale.
