Jana Lützeler

South African 2004- 

Jana Lützeler is a visual artist and aspiring jeweller based between Wellington and Woodstock, Western Cape.

Working primarily in gouache, her art explores the quiet beauty of nature, often shaped by personal memories and the emotional impressions left after visiting a place. She is currently a jewellery student at Ruth Prowse School of Art. It was here where she was introduced to gouache as a design medium and was impressed by its expressive, illustrative, potential, prompting her to adopt it as her primary medium in her visual art practice.
She has participated in local exhibitions and continues to develop a body of work that reflects her personal connection to nature and its vivid, emotional resonance.
