Galia Gluckman

Israeli 1973- 

Born in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1973, Galia Gluckman has lived in Cape Town since 2010. She is a qualified fashion designer who worked between London, UK and New York City, USA before turning to fine art. Gluckman uses pigment ink on cotton paper to create large-scale collages that comment on environmental and social concerns.

Gluckman has exhibited locally with SMAC and Circa Galleries, including at the Investec Cape Town Art Fair (2018) and FNB Joburg Art Fair (2018), and internationally at the International ArtExpo in New York City, USA (2009). Her work can be found in such collections as the Hilton Hotel Group, USA; Galila Barzilai-Hollander, Belgium; Dame Anita Roddick Collection, UK; and the Leeu Collection Franschhoek, Rupert Collection, M&C Saatchi Abel, and Spier Arts Collection in South Africa.
