Raymond Fuyana

Zimbabwean 1995- 

Raymond Fuyana was born in 1995 in Zimbabwe. He moved to Johannesburg in 2009 to attend the St Vincent School for the Deaf in Rosebank. In 2015, he joined the Saturday Youth Portfolio Development at Artist Proof Studio before enrolling in the full-time printmaking programme the following year. Fuyana’s works play on the surreal, a creation of his experiences in and feelings about the world around him. He has exhibited in the 2017 and 2018 Turbine Art Fairs, the 2022 Art Joburg, and as part of ‘African Galleries Now’ on Artsy in 2022. He participated in his first European solo exhibition in 2023 with Duende Art Projects in Antwerp, Belgium.
