Sakkie Mouton Family Wines is a highly regarded boutique producer from South Africa’s West Coast, based in the small town of Vredendal in the Olifants River region. Founded in 2019 by winemaker Sakkie Mouton, the estate has quickly gained cult status for its low-intervention approach and expressive, site-driven wines that showcase the unique terroir of the Cape’s “forgotten” coastal vineyards.

Working closely with old-vine parcels and under-appreciated varieties, Sakkie Mouton crafts small-production wines that emphasise purity, texture and a distinctive sense of place. His range has become known for its bold identity, minimal intervention philosophy, and the ability to capture the character and personality of the West Coast.
