La Grange Tiphaine

La Grange Tiphaine is a highly regarded family domaine in Amboise in the Loire Valley, run by Damien and Coralie Delecheneau. The estate has been in Damien’s family for generations, with the couple taking over in 2002 and progressively reshaping the domaine around a philosophy of terroir-driven, naturally expressive wines. Their vineyards span the appellations of Montlouis-sur-Loire and Touraine-Amboise, with Chenin Blanc playing a central role alongside Cabernet Franc, Côt (Malbec), Sauvignon Blanc and other Loire varieties.

Both Damien and Coralie trained in oenology in Bordeaux and gained international experience, including in California and South Africa, before returning to the Loire. Their approach places great emphasis on respect for the soil and biodiversity, with the vineyards farmed organically and biodynamically and the estate certified by Biodyvin. In the cellar, the focus is on precision, purity and minimal intervention, allowing the character of each site and vintage to shine through.

Today, La Grange Tiphaine is considered one of the leading estates of the Loire, particularly for its refined, mineral and terroir-focused Chenin Blancs, while its red wines have also earned a strong following among enthusiasts of the region.
