Founded in 1962 in Montalcino, Canalicchio di Sopra is one of the historic estates of the appellation and was among the founding members of the Brunello di Montalcino consortium. Family-owned for three generations, the estate is devoted exclusively to Sangiovese and is celebrated for producing elegant, terroir-driven wines that express the distinctive character of Montalcino's renowned Canalicchio and Montosoli vineyards.
