Weingut Schloss Lieser – Thomas Haag is one of the leading estates of the Mosel, based in the village of Lieser. Thomas and Ute Haag acquired the historic estate in the 1990s and have since restored it to international prominence. The 29-hectare estate is devoted to Riesling, with vineyards extending across some of the Mosel's most distinguished sites, including Bernkasteler Doctor, Graacher Himmelreich, Wehlener Sonnenuhr, Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr and Lieser Niederberg Helden. The steep, slate-soiled vineyards and meticulous, selective hand harvesting produce wines renowned for their precision, elegance, mineral complexity and exceptional ageing potential.
