Bois de Boursan

France - Rhône Valley

Bois de Boursan was established in 1955 by Jean Versino when he moved from Piedmont, Italy to Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the Southern Rhône. Passed down through the generations, the family’s property is cultivated with meticulous care and focus on the environment. With an incredible 15 different soil types on their domaine, their 10 hectares of vines are spread over 27 parcels and are planted to 13 different grape varieties. On average, the vines are 60 years old and farmed 100% organically. Only the best grapes go into their wines. 15.5 hectares of the estate is used for the production of their Châteauneuf-du-Pape rouge and the rest is reserved for the Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc.
