Alexia is a small urban winery based in Wairarapa, New Zealand. Jane and Lesley, the owners and winemakers, do everything themselves from overseeing the vineyards, crushing the grapes and bottling the wines. Their approach has always been to keep things simple, take great care and let the vineyards speak for themselves. Constantly evolving their winemaking, their believe that great wine starts in the soil and, no matter the philosophy or trend, the intent of the winemaker is written all over a wine.
