Falkenstein

Germany - Saar 

Hofgut Falkenstein is a highly regarded family-owned estate in the Saar, a tributary region of the Mosel renowned for its elegant, mineral-driven Rieslings. Based in the village of Konz, the estate farms vineyards in some of the Saar’s finest sites, including the Niedermenniger Herrenberg, producing wines that combine remarkable freshness, precision and longevity.

The estate is particularly admired by Riesling collectors for its traditional, understated style. The wines are fermented with native yeasts and often matured in old Mosel Fuder casks, allowing the character of the vineyard and vintage to shine through. Their Kabinett wines are prized for their lightness, crystalline acidity and delicate fruit, while retaining an exceptional ability to develop complexity with age.
