The estate is known for both growing its own grapes and ageing a significant library of Madeira wines across a wide range of styles and age designations. It has played an important role in preserving traditional Madeira varieties such as Sercial, Verdelho, Bual, and Malvasia, as well as Tinta Negra. Today, Henriques & Henriques is regarded as one of the key reference producers for classic, long-aged Madeira, combining traditional canteiro ageing methods with a strong focus on quality and consistency.
