Chevalier is family-run, leading winery in Pessac-Leognan dating back to the late 1600’s. Today it's owned by the Bernard family and is renowned for its fine and long-aging red and white. It is the only property in Bordeaux recognised as a Domaine; the 120-hectare estate is located in the middle of a forest which protects the vines from extreme temperatures. Sustainable farming methods are practiced in the vineyards and over 30 hectares of vines are farmed using biodynamic farming techniques.
