Beauséjour Duffau-Lagarrosse

Château Beauséjour Duffau-Lagarrosse is one of the most historic and highly regarded estates in Saint-Émilion, located on the limestone plateau overlooking the village. It sits in the heart of Bordeaux on the Right Bank. The château holds the prestigious rank of Premier Grand Cru Classé A, the highest tier in the Saint-Émilion Classification (the same top category historically shared with estates such as Château Cheval Blanc and Château Ausone).

The property dates back to the 18th century and remained in the Duffau-Lagarrosse family for many generations. In 2021, the estate was purchased by the Clarence Dillon family group (owners of Château Haut-Brion) together with Stanislas de Quercize, marking a new chapter for the château.
