Feytit-Clinet

France - Bordeaux 

Château Feytit-Clinet is a leading Bordeaux wine estate in the Pomerol appellation, known for its Merlot-based wine of the same name. As with all other Pomerol properties, it is not part of any official classification. It has been gaining increasing acclaim for recent vintages, while prices remain relatively modest. The documented history of Feytit Clinet reaches back to 1825. It was leased to Ets. Moueix from 1964 to 2000, and then, following various legal wrangles, control passed to the Chasseuil family, who inherited half of the estate from one member of the owning family and eventually bought the other half from the city of Bordeaux.
