Fritz Haag

Germany - Mosel 

Weingut Fritz Haag is one of the Mosel’s most distinguished Riesling estates, with a documented history dating back to 1605. Based in Brauneberg in the Middle Mosel, the estate is particularly renowned for its steep, south-facing vineyards of weathered Devonian slate, most notably the celebrated Brauneberger Juffer and Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr. The estate has been devoted exclusively to Riesling and is known for wines that combine crystalline fruit, vibrant acidity, fine minerality and remarkable longevity. Under the direction of Oliver Haag, who took over the estate in 2005, Fritz Haag continues to produce a broad range of dry, feinherb and naturally sweet Prädikat Rieslings, with the finest wines offering exceptional depth, elegance and ageing potential.
