Founded in 1858 as Domaine Robert Arnoux, the domaine was renamed in 2008 to reflect the fact that Pascal Lachaux, husband of Florence Arnoux, was running the estate. Sixth-generation Charles has since taken the helm.

‘A bright new star’ (Jancis Robinson MW), Charles Lachaux has overseen a meteoric rise in the quality of viticulture, range and profile at Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux, ‘a key member of an influential group of younger vigerons’ (Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy), with allocations increasingly difficult to acquire.
