Owner and vigneron, Aubert de Villaine is the longtime co-director of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and started producing wines in Bouzeron in the 1970’s, away from the limelight of Romanée-Conti. De Villaine attributes the exceptional quality of their wines to his long-standing commitment to biodynamic practices and organic production.
