Grattamacco

Italy - Bolgheri 

Podere Grattamacco is an Italian wine producer situated on a hilltop between Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri in Tuscany. The estate was founded in 1977 by Piermario Meletti Cavallari, with a first vintage produced the following year from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Merlot. It is best known for its Bolgheri Rosso Superiore DOC wines. Podere Grattamacco is owned by the Castello Colle Massari wine group who also own the San Giorgio and Poggio di Sotto estates, both located in Montalcino.
