Giovanni Manzone

Italy - Barolo, Piedmont

Giovanni Manzone is a highly regarded family-owned estate in the heart of the Barolo region, based in the commune of Monforte d'Alba in Piedmont. Established in 1925 and now run by the fourth generation of the Manzone family, the winery has earned a reputation for producing traditionally styled yet approachable wines that faithfully express the unique terroirs of the Langhe.

The estate farms some of Monforte d'Alba's most prized vineyard sites, including the renowned Gramolere cru, from which it crafts its flagship Barolo. Combining meticulous vineyard work with a restrained winemaking philosophy, Giovanni Manzone's wines are celebrated for their balance, elegance, and capacity to age gracefully. Alongside Barolo, the estate produces acclaimed examples of Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto d'Alba, and Langhe Nebbiolo.

Today, Giovanni Manzone is recognised as one of Monforte d'Alba's benchmark producers, creating wines that capture the power, complexity, and distinctive character of one of Barolo's most esteemed growing areas.
