Johannes Casparus Lotter

Johannes Casparus Lotter, baptized at the Cape on 25 August 1737, was the son of Matthias Lotter and Anna Dorothea van den Berg. He married Johanna Catharina van Kerken on 7 May 1758 and likely completed his apprenticeship under his stepfather, Johann Hasse. He began working as a silversmith from around 1766, though to the end of his career and date of death remain uncertain.
