Etling Glass

Paris, France 1906-1942

The company was founded by Edmond Laurent Etling in Paris, France in 1906. They commissioned many works of art, including in bronze, ceramics, and glass, mainly from French artists. Most moulded glass was made for Etling at the Choisy-le-Roi glassworks near Paris, while cameo glass was made by Loetz.

The family, being Jewish were stripped of all their assets and were sent to the Nazi concentration camps where they met their deaths. The business unfortunately did not survive and production was nevre resumed.
