Émile Gallé (8 May 1846 - 23 September 1904) was born in Nancy, France. A French designer and artist, he worked in glass. Noted for his designs in Art Nouveau glass and furniture, he was a founding member of the École de Nancy, a museum devoted to the Art Nouveau movement.
