Xolani Mayikana

Xolani Mayikana is a South African contemporary jewellery designer and lecturer in the Department of Fine and Studio Arts at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) in Pretoria. He holds a Master of Fine Arts, with research focused on the application of additive manufacturing technologies, including 3D printing, within small, medium and micro-enterprise jewellery businesses. His practice combines material exploration with emerging technologies, considering new approaches to jewellery production and fabrication.
