John Gallimore

John Gallimore was a Sheffield-based silversmith and electroplate manufacturer active in the late 19th century, known for producing silver-plated items, including tableware like rolltop breakfast servers and dishes. He registered a "J.G" mark in a shield in July 1885.

Late 19th Century (registered marks in 1885 and 1893).
Italian Works, Matilda Street, Sheffield, and 126-128 Eyre St.
Known for plated dishes and items, often stamped with "John Gallimore Sheffield".
Often featured a "J.G" maker's mark within a shield.
His work is frequently found in surveys of English electroplate and silver plate makers from the Sheffield area.
