The 2000 Côte de Nuits harvest produced wines of genuine character and fine aromatic definition, a vintage that rewarded careful selection in the cellar with wines of notable depth and a composed, classical Gevrey identity that continues to develop with pleasing complexity at an age of full maturity. Bouchard Père & Fils' 2000 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers has been Les Cazetiers is one of the most highly regarded Premier Cru vineyards of Gevrey-Chambertin, situated on the upper slopes of the village directly below the Grands Crus, its well-drained limestone soils producing wines of considerable structure, aromatic complexity and the mineral precision that makes it one of the most consistently acclaimed Premiers Crus in the entire village. The wine is produced from 100% Pinot Noir, aged 12 to 14 months in French oak with 40 to 50% new barrels.

These wines have been sourced directly from the ancient 15th Century cellars of Bouchard Père et Fils. They were imported into South Africa in March 2026 by Great Domaines via refrigerated container (reefer), ensuring optimal preservation throughout transit.
