Provenance

These wines have been sourced directly from the ancient 15^th Century cellars of Bouchard Père et Fils. They were imported into South Africa in March 2026 by Great Domaines via refrigerated container (reefer), ensuring optimal preservation throughout transit.

“The 2017 Beaune 1er Cru du Château Blanc displays aromas of green orchard fruit, blanched almonds and white flowers, followed by a medium-bodied, elegantly delicate palate with good concentration and a saline finish. “The 2017 Beaune du Château Blanc 1er Cru comes from 10 hectares over five different Premier Crus. It has a pretty apricot blossom and white peach bouquet that opens nicely in the glass. The fresh palate is a little oaky on the entry – just 15% though, and that will be absorbed.
