The 2010 Côte de Nuits harvest is widely regarded as one of the finest of the modern era, producing wines of exceptional structure, aromatic complexity and the kind of extraordinary longevity that marks out a truly great Burgundy vintage capable of rewarding collectors over many decades in the cellar. Bouchard Père & Fils' 2010 Charmes-Chambertin has been Charmes-Chambertin is among the most extensive of Gevrey-Chambertin's nine Grands Crus, its deep calcareous soils producing wines of notable richness, fine aromatic generosity and suppleness that have made it one of the most sought-after addresses in the entire Côte de Nuits, its warmth and clay-limestone soils consistently delivering wines of both immediate pleasure and remarkable longevity. The wine is produced from 100% Pinot Noir, aged 12 to 14 months in French oak with 40 to 50% new barrels.

These wines have been sourced directly from the ancient 15th Century cellars of Bouchard Père et Fils. They were imported into South Africa in March 2026 by Great Domaines via refrigerated container (reefer), ensuring optimal preservation throughout transit.
