Strauss & Co Celebrates Modern & Contemporary Art at Inaugural KZN Art Fair

Africa’s leading art auction house, Strauss & Co, will be participating in the inaugural KZN Art Fair hosted by the Hilton Arts Festival at Hilton College from -7 to 9 August 2026.   

The KZN Art Fair will take place in the Memorial Hall and flanking courtyard at Hilton College, and Strauss & Co can be found in Booth 8.  Artworks on display will promote upcoming auctions, celebrating modern and contemporary art. Vistors can expect to see works by artists such as JH Pierneef, Irma Stern, William Kentridge, Cecil Skotnes as well as works by prominent KZN artist Andrew Verster.

Strauss & Co Art Specialist, Tiyani Rikotso, will be participating in the Art Fair’s panel discussion From Initiative to Infrastructure: Building Art Ecosystems which will explore the practical realities of developing and sustaining South Africa’s evolving arts landscape.  The discussion will take place in the Art Fair precinct at 14h30 on Sunday 9 August.
