The September Strauss & Co fine wine auction features 6 sessions from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, the Rhône Valley, Iberia and additional finds from around the world. Highlights on the Bordeaux theme include a rare Dominus Estate 1996 from the Napa Valley and Penfolds Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon 1998 from Australia, along with various icon Bordeaux. 

Led by Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and a 2007 horizontal of all their vineyards, the Burgundy session is fine list of the most hallowed Pinot Noirs in the world. There are eight lots of Armand Rousseau from their prime vineyards and other top producers include Dujac, Barthod, Hudelot-Noellat and Mugnier. An ultra rare magnum of the fine 1949 vintage from Domaine des Lambrays and rare Florente de Merod Corton Les Renardes from 2005 completes a fabulous selection. 

The Champagne line-up is headlined by seven lots from Dom Perignon including the fine 2008 and 1996. Other Grande Marques include legendary champagnes in Bollinger RD 1998, Krug 1988 and Salon 1990!

The Rhône line-up features the greatest wines in the region, along with mature wines which offer exceptional value. Headliners include Clape, Pegau, Bonneau, Jamet, Rayas, Gonon, Rostaing and Vieux Telegraphe, and a magnificent and rare Chave Hermitage 1995!

The Italian and Spanish line-up is one of the finest we have curated. Various vintages of Antinori Tignanello and Angelo Gaja are on offer along with super-rare Giacomo Conterno, Soldera, Biondi Santi and Castello dei Rampolla. 

We offer the acclaimed Rosato and Blanco Gran Reservas from Vina Tondonia, top Riojas from La Nieta and La Rioja Alta along with the iconic Numanthia from Toro. 

Finally, the additional finds session includes fine Loire wines from Moulin Touchais, Rougeard’s iconic Saumur-Champigny and Alphonse Mellot. Two vintages of Napa’s Opus One and Lebanon’s most famous wine, Chateau Musar, round off an epic International auction that will please all palates.
