A pair of Chinese blue and white porcelain jars and covers, Kangxi period, 1662-1722
Notes
A pair of blue and white jars, each decorated with barbed panels containing dragons, all reserved on a trellised ground scattered with prunus blooms. The covers repeat the same decorative scheme. Strong cobalt tones and finely executed panel work reflect the high-quality production of the Kangxi period.
