"The 2012 Noble Late Harvest Riesling was picked between March 28 - April 12 at 33 Brix, equating to 154 grams per liter residual sugar. Gold in the glass flecked with green, the nose is very pure with scents of honey, candied pineapple, a smudge of caramelized butter and apricot preserve. The palate is well balanced with the acidity neatly in sync with the sweet fruit, rendering it less sweeter than it actually is (therefore more easy to drink in decent measure.) There is fine tension here with a caressing viscous finish that translates the purity evident on the nose. Very fine." - Neal Martin, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, 90/100 (Oct 2014)
