About this Item

Altima Sauvignon Blanc 2018
6 (1 x 6) 750ml
Cape of Good Hope is the terroir-focused range of Anthonij Rupert Wines, drawn from distinctive, often remote sites across South Africa. Altima is its cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc from Bokkeveld shale soils high in Elandskloof, leesy and saline in style. 2018 was the last of four drought vintages, very dry and concentrated. Tim Atkin MW scored it 93 in his South Africa Special Report 2019.

Critics Ratings

"Altima comes from Bokkeveld shale soils in the amazing terroir of Elandskloof, located between 650 and 850 metres. Leesy, saline and nettley, it's a welcome antidote to simple, fruit-driven Sauvignon Blancs with noteworthy freshness, focus and palate precision." - Tim Atkin MW, SA Special Report 2019, 93/100 (Sep 2019)
